Trebnik is an Orthodox liturgical book that contains an exposition of priestly acts and prayers that are performed for the need and at the request of one or more persons, in certain circumstances. Such priestly activities include, first of all, the acts of all the Holy Mysteries, then the acts of burial of the deceased, consecration of water, monasticism, consecration of temples and many others concerning various cases of the Christian life.
