Medallion, double-sided, inspired by Slavic mythology (DRAGON motif).

The medallion is massive, 5 cm in diameter and comes with a matching lace made of black waxed string.

ROD ® pendants, necklaces and medallions inspired by Serbian and Slavic mythology are not made of precious metals, they are made of high-quality metal alloy based on zinc, aluminum, copper and magnesium, without lead, tin and nickel, then electroplated with a layer of silver (or brass) and finally patinated.

It is not recommended to get the pendant wet (because of the patina).

A DRAGON is a fiery being and in Slavic mythology represents the personification of the Solar (supreme) Deity, and as such is in an inextricable connection with heavenly fire and the home hearth, which in our folklore is called the "dragon's nest".
The dragon mythologically and morphologically emerges from the snake, the chthonic (lunar, female) form of the protector of the house, family and ancestral spirits, and by accepting the patriarchal system, it becomes the male or solar principle of the Creator and protector.
Dragons most often live on mountains and are people's favorites - they protect them and the crops from hail clouds that, according to legend, bring ale and dragons.
In the Serbian tradition, the highest form of this supernatural being is a combination of a dragon and a man in the figures of "dragon heroes" who have small wings under their armpits, snake moles and a whip made of wolf hair on their arms, which is considered a sign of the early form of the supreme deity among Serbs - a snake and a wolf .
