Censer in home are usually made for holding in hand, made of earth or metal, and have a variety of shapes that are in accordance with the Christian spirit. In the censer is placed ember of wood (usually briquette) and on the ember incense that spreads a pleasant and blessed scent. Censer and ember in it are symbolizing our fervent love of faith and warmth of our Christian souls. The smell of incense symbolizes the grace of the Holy Spirit.
The censer is used during every prayer. Host is using it holding a censer in his right hand and makes a cross sign with it. U use it first on older and then on younger. Censer also holds the ceremonial place in the house.
