Traditional Serbian hand-woven belt worn on a national costume was popularly known among people as the so called "soul-keeper". Because of its bright colors, the belt is attributed special magical effects and is believed to protect the wearer. There are male and female belts. It is used as a belt or a decorative element on clothing, and with its motives represents an inspiration for other products based on recognizable and authentic motif.
