Ostrog Monastery is a monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church located along an almost vertical cliff, high on the mountain Ostroška greda in Montenegro. It is dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog. The Ostrog Monastery consists of the Upper and Lower Monasteries. It is one of the greatest Orthodox shrines of our people.

The picture is made of fine linden wood selected for carving. It is a full relief with pronounced details and a special shading technique that gives everything ultimate clarity and beauty.
