The Serbian Orthodox Church and the faithful celebrate the Venerable Alimpije Stolpnik on December 9. Although it is not marked with a red letter in the calendar, this saint is highly respected among the Serbian people, and according to some data, he is in the fifteenth place among Serbs. As a Slava it is most often celebrated in Podrinje.
