The national costume of Gnjilane or Kosovsko Pomoravlje is one of the most famous Serbian costumes from Kosovo and Metohija. Male costume has a characteristic brown bodice with red applications and black braids. The trousers are brown and the socks are hand-stitched with distinctive patterns. Belt is hand-woven, white shirt decorated with lace. On the head, men wear a sajkaca (Serbian folk hat).
