U februaru 1928. godine u Boki Kotorskoj je izbio najveći ustanak austrijskih mornara. Četrdeset ratnih brodova sa 6.000 mornara pobunilo se protiv austrijske monarhije. Ustanak je krvavo ugušen posle dva dana, a vođa ustanka streljan.
