The Draca Monastery is located in a river basin, 10 kilometers west of Kragujevac. According to tradition, Saint Mount Athos hermit Jov in the 14th century left an amanet on death for his body to be transferred to the Holy Mountain. The car with the body could not be moved from where the monastery is today, so the monk is buried there.
The church was dedicated to St. Nicholas and was erected in 1734 and belongs to the Moravian school. The base is elongated in shape, with a distinct parapet, nave and altar space. An eight-sided dome rises above the central part. The sandstone of yellowish color with brick gives the church a picturesque effect. In the 19th century, a baroque bell tower was added to the west. The painting dates from 1735, is well preserved and is considered one of the best in this area. The iconostasis is from the beginning of the 19th century and consists of 36 icons. The shelters were built in the 19th century in a folk style and contain a monastery archive and a library.
At the time of Koča Krajina, Anđelković Koča also lived there, so the monastery was badly damaged as a meeting point for the uprising.
