      Izrađena je tehnikom kaširanjana sa zlatotiskom.
      Ram je urađen od drveta i ikona je zastakljena.

      U Hilandarskoj sabornoj crkvi, ispod oltara, postavljena je čudotvorna ikona Bogorodice Trojeručice. Predanje kaže da je sveti Jovan Damaskin, čuveni bogoslov, pesnik i poštovalac ikona, bio oklevetan kod kalifa u Damasku. Surovo je kažnjen odsecanjem desne ruke. Osakaćeni pesnik pao je pred ikonu Presvete Bogorodice moleći se. Iste noći mu se ruka vratila. Pred čudom koje se zbilo, kalif bi obuzet kajanjem i požele Jovanu da vrati sva dostojanstva. Međutim, on se zahvali i ode u manastir. Iz blagodarnosti prema isceliteljki, dao je da se u srebru izradi reljef njegove ruke koji priloži u ikonu. Tada ona dobi ime Trojeručica.
