The icon is made by laminating on a MDF board, which gives it strength and longevity. The front of the icon reveals a masterfully crafted depiction of saints. The gold print gives this scene a dramatic yet sophisticated look, with gold details that reflect the light in a special way. Every detail, from the saint's clothing to the ornaments, is crafted with great precision.

On the back of the icon is the text "Our Father". This prayer text is highlighted in gold print, which adds a deeper spiritual meaning to this work of art.

This icon is not just a beautiful aesthetic object. It is also a bridge between the worldly and the spiritual, made with love and respect for the Orthodox tradition.

Saint Nicholas is the common name for Nicholas of Myra, a saint and Bishop of Myra (Demre, in Lycia, part of modern-day Turkey). Because of the many miracles attributed to his intercession, he is also known as Nicholas the Wonderworker. He had a reputation for secret gift-giving, such as putting coins in the shoes of those who left them out for him, and thus became the model for Santa Claus, whose English name comes from the Dutch Sinterklaas. His reputation evolved among the faithful, as is common for early Christian saints. In 1087, his relics were furtively translated to Bari, in southern Italy; for this reason, he is also known as Nicholas of Bari.
