The Christian tradition holds that Luke wrote the Holy Gospel of Luke - the third Gospel (in the order of the New Testament), and Acts of the Apostles.
Feast of the commemoration of St. Luke in the nation known as Lučindan is celebrated in many Serbian Orthodox families, and believers celebrate him as a healer and protector of some crafts.
