Draza Mihajlovic - Beacon of freedom in occupied Europe 1941.
Dragoljub Draža Mihajlović, colonel in Yugoslav Royal Army, after brief war when Germany invaded Yugoslavia in April 1941, has managed to avoid being captured, and together with several other officers formed Četnik resistance movement, which at the time was the only resistance movement, in all countries occupied bz Germany.
He was decorated with highest ally medals of honour, while Yugoslav govermment in exile has made him the general – chief of all Yugoslav forces fighting in homeland. In additionto that, de Gaule has decorated him for his bravery in resisting German forces.
At the end of WW2, General Mihajlović was captured by Yugoslav communist forces, and tried for treason. He was sented to death and executed in 1946. His name is still powerful symbol of Serbian resistance, both to foreign occupation and to domestic communists.
The figurine is made by 3D printing technique, from PLA material (PLA or poly (lactide) is a biodegradable thermoplastic alpha polyester produced from renewable plant resources.), FDM / FFF technology.
